What evidence tier do licensed data series use?
All commercially available GII data licenses today cover E0 and E1 series: public list-price notional spend and the coverage-qualified historical backcast. They cover research, monitoring, and OTC document framing. They are not settlement-grade realized spend.
Can I reference GII in a swap or term sheet?
Yes, with the right defined terms and tier labels. The Benchmark Reference Kit packages the language we recommend. The Grid does not intermediate trades or book derivatives; we publish the benchmark and support counterparties who need auditable reference definitions.
Do you offer API or terminal distribution?
Institutional licenses can include scheduled file delivery today. REST or WebSocket API access is available by agreement for institutional customers. Contact us with your integration requirements.
How is this different from what IFX publishes?
IFX indexes output-token list prices per lab. GII indexes public notional inference spend: routed token volume valued at standardized list tariffs. Spend is the budget line; unit cost is a derived series. The methodologies are complementary, not interchangeable.
Is academic or press access free?
The public site and per-index pages are free. We often grant Professional access at no charge for academic research and accredited press, subject to citation requirements. Submit a request and note your affiliation.
